The smiles say it all!

More fun at the Botanical Gardens.

It's Wellness Wednesday! Let's talk about responsible decision-making:

Yesterday was a great day at E. Ray! A very special thank you to Circle K Construction for sponsoring lunch for our amazing staff. Our 1st and 2nd grade students also had the opportunity to visit the Botanical Gardens and enjoyed the experience.

In preparation for our STAAR test, we hosted a pep rally for our 3rd–5th graders! Our 1st and 2nd grade students cheered them on as they entered the cafeteria, creating an exciting and supportive atmosphere. We reviewed test-taking strategies and shared ways to help our students feel confident and at ease. Our step team, under the direction of Mr. Shelton, performed a powerful routine highlighting our Bulldog Mindset, and Mr. Shelton and Mr. Gerton even performed an original song to get everyone in the spirit!
I am so proud of our students, and I know they will be successful tomorrow. Please take a moment to review the attached flyer for a few helpful tips for testing day.
Reminder: 3rd–5th grade students will not need to bring their backpacks tomorrow.

Please join me in celebrating Mrs. Snell for National Assistant Principal Week. Thank you Mrs. Snell for all that you do.

Our 4th graders had a blast participating in an Easter egg hunt in the library! They earned this because they had the highest attendance at our Spring Showcase last week.

Hip, Hip, Horray! Mrs. Leija's class celebrated filling up their class jar with ice cream sundaes. As a class they would get chips in the jar for good behavior in the classroom, hallway, or for compliments from other staff in the building. Way to go!!

Good afternoon Families,
Please take a moment to view our newsletter on ClassDojo. Thank you for another great week! We hope you enjoy the 3-day weekend, and we look forward to seeing our students back on Monday.

Mrs. Pate's 4th Graders are enjoying their math camp.

Best surprise today! Mr. Shelton, our first grade teacher, came in disguised as a substitute for an unforgettable April Fools' Day joke. His commitment to the costume brought so much joy and laughter to students and staff. This is a memory we’ll always cherish!

It's Wellness Wednesday! STAAR tests begin next week. Here are some strategies you can do at home to help your student be their best:

Great job Friday announcement helpers - thank you for bringing the energy going into the weekend!

Professor Brainius had our students chanting, "I love science!"

A special thank you to our families for supporting our Spring Showcase/STAAR Information Night.

Our Spring Showcase/STAAR Informational Night has everything from classroom activities to a live science show. Thank you Professor Brainius for joining us this evening.

Does your Spring Showcase have a flying T-Rex? Ours does! Come on out tonight and see 5th grade student Jonathan Manriquez' 'Sue the T-Rex' display in the cafeteria! The event runs from 5:30-7:30.

Our first graders had a fun time with movement and music with Mr. Gerton.

Congratulations to our IXL Reading Challenge winners!
